Chocolate Chip Brownies

Description

A satisfying treat, these chocolate chip brownies are made with whole grains and mini chocolate chips!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350’F and line a brownie pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder and salt. Stream in the melted butter and whisk to combine. Stir in the vanilla extract and eggs. Add the flour and stir until just mixed. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  3. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 20-22 minutes. Cool in pan before removing and slicing.

Notes

  • Use really good cocoa powder and chocolate for these, you won’t regret it!
