A little bit about me and what I do
My expertise and passion lies in recipe development and modification. This passion has led to several amazing opportunities – contributing content for Eating Well Magazine, Parents.com and Stack.com as well as creating recipes for the “Kids Eat Right” website and for the Hass Avocado Board. I am a former culinary and nutrition instructor and I have done numerous live and recorded cooking demonstrations which can be seen on kidseatright.org, eatright.org and WGN News. I am a contributing writer for Food and Nutrition Magazine and write for their Stone Soup Blog. I am also the voice of the “Eating Right Minute,” a PSA featured on WBBM Newsradio. To top it all off, I am also very proud to say that I am a National Spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
And this is where I went to school
I am a graduate of Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!), studied at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst for my Dietetic Internship and completed my culinary degree at The Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago, Le Cordon Blue Program. I completed my culinary externship at Charlie Trotter’s To Go.
