I made something fancy for you. Something you’d find on the menu at a bistro. A French bistro. The kind with wrought iron tables set with fine china. The kind where you see (and yearn to be the) people sipping rosé and wearing dark sunglasses and white linen pants. I’ve never been to France, but this is how I imagine every bistro there. Does your family love pasta? I have 2 big pasta lovers in my household. And I grew up with a brother who could’ve probably housed an entire pound of spaghetti all by himself. Me? Not so much. Sure, I like pasta, but it’s not up there on my favorite foods list. So how do I fulfill my family’s pasta needs? I compromise with pasta salad!
Who doesn’t like a change of pace? While I love simplicity, I also appreciate mixing things up a little. For example, I love popcorn in it’s most purest form. I could eat it every day. TACOS are one of my absolute favorite foods (it’s a tie with pizza if you must know). I honestly believe that anything can become a taco. And tacos can be for any meal, not just lunch or dinner, but breakfast too or hey, how about a taco snack? YUM! But if you must know, fish tacos are my most favorite, with shrimp tacos following close behind! Hmmm, did someone say Tequila Citrus Shrimp Tacos?
I am a sucker for a good breakfast wrap or sandwich. There’s just something so lovely about warm, fluffy eggs tucked into a whole wheat tortilla or sandwiched between a toasted English muffin. It’s pure breakfast (or anytime!) perfection.
